There is that within us which lights us up and if we simply allow ourselves to be a vehicle for the Divine. We don't need to go in search of anything because we'll find everything we need is already here and already within. The Love of the Divine, the Joy of the Divine, the Abundance of the Divine, and the Wholeness of the Divine burns bright within us. However, we need to make a conscious choice to turn within and connect with the luminescence that we are.
This time of year (or any time of year, actually) can 
bring up feelings that are uncomfortable or make us unhappy. Maybe we feel lonely or unlovable. Maybe we feel we don't have enough money or talent or good looks. Or maybe we feel like a victim or a failure. And what are those feelings but a turning away from the Truth and a refusal to look at the Light of Truth within? We can follow the light within to the Greater Light and a realization that we are the out-picturing of God.

Today is Christmas and it symbolizes the birth of the light within us all. We are the perfect union of God in man (and woman). It is time to remember our relationship to Spirit and begin to step into our courage and let our own brand of light shine so we can make the difference we are here to make.

Each of us should seek that beam of light within and follow it to the great Light - the Light that is in everything. We must acquiesce to It, and surrender all that has made us unhappy, all that has isolated us from It. Only then can God fully pronounce Itself through us and in us, and personalize Itself as us.
