The Search is Over

A young man was apprenticed to a master artist who produced some of the most beautiful stained glass anywhere. The apprentice could not approach the master's genius, so he borrowed his master's tools, thinking that was the answer. After several weeks, the young man said to his teacher, "I'm not doing any better with your tools than I did with mine." The master replied, "It's not the tools of the master you need; it's the spirit of the master you need."

Sometimes we forget our spiritual support; we forget our connection to God. When we are facing adifficulty, a challenging situation, or something serious in our lives, we forget about God in that moment. Instead, we try and fix, repair, heal, or change everything on our own. We tell ourselves (and everyone around us) how big our problem is and we forget to tell our problem how big our God is.

Can we open ourselves up to a more intimate relationship with the God of our being? What will it take for us to remember that we don't need to go searching outside of ourselves for answers or even spiritual support? We already have everything we need.

Instead of searching for tools and gadgets and advice from things or people 'out there', it's time to tune into the master within, the spirit within, and unleash our true power, our true potential, our true support, and movie into our infinite possibilities

It's time to stretch yourself, do things you wouldn't ordinarily do, and go after your dreams.

Wisdom from Ernest Holmes
Someone might say:  Where does God come in in this performance? God does not come in. God never went out. Every word we speak is God, everything we see is God - the buttercup, the sunset, the morning dew nestling in the petal of the rose, that is God, and love and laughter are God. God is everything, everywhere, every place - the innermost presence of our own thought, the outermost rim and circumference of our own experience.
