Unexpected Obstacles

We all want smooth roads and smooth sailings, don't we? We all want a life free of struggle, drama, fear, anxiety, and strife. And yet, smooth roads don't create good drivers and calm seas don't develop good sailors. And a problem-free and hassle-free life may not grow our faith or make us strong. In fact, we are likely to encounter unexpected obstacles on our path and it is how we approach these obstacles that will allow us to create our lives from a sense of wonder and infinite possibilities or stop us in our tracks and set us up with infinite excuses. We get to choose.

When we can remember that "All is Well" no matter what obstacle we may encounter, our minds are free to rise up a new level of consciousness from which to look for a solution. You see, when we can be 'well' within ourselves, we can be well with the world. But when we are not 'well' with ourselves - when we think there is something wrong with us, that we are less than, that we don't get the breaks, that we don't have value or worth, that we are a phony, that we are flawed or damaged in some way, then these unexpected obstacles become important.

And regardless of what shows up for us in life that looks dim, grim, and dark, we can still be well within ourselves and remember our passion and our purpose and not get tricked into thinking that anything in the outer world can affect what we think of ourselves. We are a majority of ONE. We are God in action, expressing Life and Love and Passion and Purpose and Exuberance and Awesomeness like no one else on planet Earth. And there are no unexpected obstacles that can deny that Truth.

Sometimes the way through, is over or under or even around the obstacle. And we can enjoy the scenery along the way. Right?
