Dream Big

Some of us find it hard to dream big, receive big, and get out of our own way and let Spirit move through us. Some of us just want to play it safe, remain in our comfort zone, and keep doing the same thing over and over again. We may not be on fire with life, but we sure know what to expect! If we don't accept or welcome or receive our good, it doesn't go away; it just doesn't become part of our life.

How many times do we let old tapes and old storiesdetermine how (or even if) we move ahead? Maybe we start something with confidence only to let the memory of Uncle Bert telling us we could never accomplish anything diminish our confidence. And before long, another thought that is similar follows along and we are soon derailed. Some of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we can't do something simply because we failed at it once before.

Most of us have heard the saying, "Whatever you can conceive and believe, you can achieve." Our beliefs are creating a mental mold that Creative Intelligence, Spirit, God or the Law (all the same thing) will rush to fill. That's what God does; It creates and It gives and It gives and It gives. We need to create the mold we wish to experience. We need to uproot our old beliefs and choose something new. It's time to dream big.

I love this poem by Meister Eckhart:
"I could not bear to touch God with my own hand when He came within my reach, but He wanted me to hold Him. How God solved my blessed agony, who can understand? He turned my body into His." And that's you too!

How much of this Infinite Good is ours? ALL OF IT! And how much of It may we have to use? AS MUCH AS WE CAN EMBODY."      ~ The Science of Mind

Ready to Receive

God is Infinite, ready to fill our every desire and every need, but we aren't always open to receive all of our good. If we go to the ocean with a thimble, we take away a thimble of ocean. If we go with a bucket, we get to take an entire bucket of ocean. And if we back up a tanker truck and fill it, we can have an entire truck full of ocean. The ocean doesn't care; it is still the ocean and the flow continues to flow.

However, we are not always receptive to the flow ofgood. We have ideas about our worthiness. We think if we have more than others will have less; we worry what other people will think of us - we might look greedy; we question our ability to handle money or other good. The result is we don't ask for what we want and we block the flow of good to us and through us. It's time to get out the Spiritual Drano to unclog our pipes.

How much are we willing to move beyond the thimble and become a bigger vessel? God is willing to fill up the entire container that we provide. Spirit wants to give us more of the goodness that we desire but we must be able to see it, feel it, and know it before the goodness can be revealed.

What is Life calling you to do and what is Life calling you to be? Are you hiding from your greatness? Are you shrinking from your destiny? And if you are....then stop it!

Are you willing to be glorified? Are you willing to be so full of joy that you don't know if you can even contain it all? Are you willing to step into your power? Hard questions, huh?

Wisdom from Ernest Holmes
How much can one demonstrate? Just what one can believe. How much can we see, how much can we accept, how much can we find in our consciousness that is no longer repudiated by our own denials? Whatever that is, THAT IS HOW MUCH WE CAN HAVE

Step Into Circulation

Too often we are willing to settle. We make excuses as to why we don't need more, why we don't need better, why we don't need to live in our zone of brilliance, or why we don't need to sparkle. Our excuses sound reasonable and we continue to live in our comfort zone.
When our minds can't see a way through a problem, it is tempted not to act even on what we can see because we can't do all we desire to do. So we delay in doing anything at all. We never even take the first step. And if we don't take the first step, nothing will change for us. We need to circulate and find some way to keep yourself in circulation.
Here are some guidelines to give you a power boost and help you jumpstart the Law of Circulation in your life:

Giving:
  • Attach no strings to your gifts. If strings are there, it isn't a gift at all. Give something freely.
  • Give joyfully. Even if you are paying a bill, do so with joy. Giving with a grudge doesn't bless the giver or the receivier.

Receiving:
  • Be open to receiving. You must not rob the giver in their joy in giving.
  • Prepare yourself to receive by being receptive and appreciative.
  • Be grateful for the little things to prepare for the big things.
  • Be open to new people who bring you new ideas. Stay away from the phrase, "I already know that."
What if this simple idea, when put into action, is the key to busting loose from struggling and settling and beginning your life of possibilities? Isn't it worth a try?
